As this year's amazing summer in the UK comes to an end, so does our Summer 30% Off deal.
Our teacups and saucers in particular are selling fast, so hurry whilst we've still got stock. Our last customer bought 25 of them!
Offer ends on Sunday 9th September.
Enjoy your day.
It's fast-approaching the middle of the summer here in the UK, and the children are now off on their holidays. (Mixed emotions!) So that only means one thing, and that's another spectacular discount!
We're offering a whopping 30% Off all items on our site, so treat yourself to one of our elegant signature Union Jack Tea sets today!
Fantastic news! We've now been given the functionality to offer 'buy-something-get-something-free' deals. We think this is a bargain, as the cup and saucer are worth £8.99 (approximately $12, 15 AUD, 152 ZAR, 10 Euros)
Perhaps this will convince you to adorn your display cabinet with our tea set!
We've been meaning to hold a giveaway competition for a while, and so we decided to give it a go. The response so far has been absolutely crazy!.. and we're delighted to see that we do in fact have many engaged friends on social media.
The competition has only been running for a couple of days out of its' one week duration, but already we have had in a lot of great suggestions for our tea set range.
The most popular (in no particular order) are a Milk Jug, Sugar Pot, Tea Cosy, Egg Cups, Toast Rack, Dinner Plate and even Champagne Flutes!
We want to let you know that we do already have a prototype of a Milk Jug and a Sugar Pot in production. The print has already been designed, and the guys and girls at our factory are working hard to get them made. They should be available in the autumn of this year.
Plates, Eggs Cups, Cake Stands among a few others will follow soon after.
We'll naturally keep you posted. If you sign-up to our website, you'll be one of the first people to know about the new items and you'll be kept updated on all Britain Street activities.
Until then, keep the comments and suggestions coming. You can find our competition if you go to our Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/britainstreet/
As you know, we've been working hard to improve our postage costs for international customers. We now have completely new, revised shipping zones.

Many thanks for reading!
It's late, very late in fact. As I look with bleary eyes at the clock it's nearly 1am, and any sensible person would be in bed. Not me. I'm continuing to work on ways to cut costs of international shipping and I think I'm well on my way to succeeding. Oh, and finishing the night with this little blog post.
Returning to my point, Britain Street in effect 'takes a hit' to keep our shipping costs as low as possible. Nevertheless, in order for us to grow we must improve further, and that includes offering the best prices for our very loyal and supportive international and mainland customers.
Today, or should I now say ..'yesterday' we launched a 5-day campaign offering 50% off of all shipping and we're keen to see how you customers respond.
We would love for you to comment below. Click on 'Read More' and let us know your thoughts.
Well, what can I say! It was a busy time for us and our tea sets this weekend, helped along by fabulous weather. We met some great people and learned so much from seasoned trades people. Not to mention a potentially exciting opportunity. Thanks to all who visited our small-but-perfectly-formed stall. Now, it's back to focusing on expanding our range!
Despite a slightly late arrival, we set up quickly and spent the day chatting with customers, fellow exhibitors and traders. We're all very tired but looking forward to day two. The weather won't be so hot tomorrow, but I'm sure the place will be buzzing just as much as it was today. What a great turnout. Great experience.
Since Britain Street launched our Union Jack tea sets back in February we've been keeping our heads down, working hard to get our name and products out there to the masses.
A big thanks to our customers so far, and we hope to gain a much bigger following in time.
Well, now we're ready to get ourselves out into the bright British sunshine, as we're going to be attending the Fes.Tea.Val event at Chiswick House & Gardens on the 21st and 22nd April. An event full of like-minded British tea and vintage enthusiasts.
We're extremely delighted to have been noticed by the organisers of this event, and given the chance to showcase our products.
We're a tiny operation this year, but with every business you have to start somewhere. Tenacity is the key, and every day we make sure we do one thing that brings us closer to our goal.
So, if you're in the area, or you're already going to the event, then please look out for us at the Tea Bazaar area. Come and say hi, we'll be more than happy to answer any questions you have! :)
